Legal

Terms and
Conditions

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

1. Agreement Acceptance

WRENCHRITE AUTOMOTIVE LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") provides these Terms and Conditions to govern your access to our website and automotive repair services. By bringing your vehicle to our facility, authorizing repairs, or using our digital platforms, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our automotive services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.

2. Services Description

We provide professional general automotive repair services, including but not limited to: computer diagnostics, engine and transmission repair, brake services, fluid exchanges, electrical system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and parts replacement. All vehicle services are performed in accordance with automotive industry standards. We reserve the right to refuse service to any vehicle that we deem unsafe to operate, structurally compromised, or beyond reasonable repair.

3. Estimates and Diagnostic Quotes

All repair estimates provided by the Company are valid for 15 days, strictly subject to the current availability and pricing of replacement parts. Initial quotes are based on preliminary visual inspections and computer diagnostic codes. Final pricing may vary if internal engine/transmission damage, rusted components, or additional necessary repairs are discovered after the vehicle is disassembled. We will always seek your explicit approval before proceeding with any additional work that exceeds the original approved estimate.

4. Payment Requirements and Mechanic's Lien

Full payment is required immediately upon completion of the authorized repairs and before the vehicle is released from our facility. We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved fleet cards. Under Connecticut state law, WRENCHRITE AUTOMOTIVE LLC reserves the right to assert a mechanic's lien (garageman's lien) against your vehicle for any unpaid repair invoices, parts, or storage fees. We retain the right to hold the vehicle until all balances are paid in full.

5. Parts Ordering and Cancellation

If you choose to cancel a scheduled repair after providing authorization, you will be responsible for the cost of any diagnostic labor already performed and a restocking fee for any parts already ordered. Special order components, electronics, and programmed control modules (ECMs) are strictly non-refundable once ordered from our suppliers.

6. Vehicle Storage and Abandonment

Once you are notified that your vehicle repairs are complete, you must pick up your vehicle within 48 business hours. Vehicles left at our facility beyond this grace period will incur a daily storage fee of $45 per day. Vehicles left unpaid or abandoned on our lot for more than 30 days will be subject to legal disposal, towing, or auction in accordance with Connecticut abandoned vehicle statutes.

7. Customer Obligations and Vehicle Access

When dropping off your vehicle, you agree to provide all necessary keys/fobs, wheel lock keys, and alarm bypass instructions. You are strictly responsible for removing all personal property, cash, and valuable items from the vehicle prior to service. We require the vehicle to have sufficient fuel to perform post-repair test drives and verify system functionality.

8. Warranty Coverage

We guarantee our repair labor and supply a standard industry warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) on new parts installed by our technicians, unless otherwise noted on your invoice. This warranty covers defective parts and workmanship only. Our warranty is voided if the vehicle is altered, used for off-road/racing purposes, involved in a collision, or if the installed parts are tampered with by another repair shop. We offer no warranty on customer-supplied parts.

9. Liability Limitation

The Company carries comprehensive garage liability insurance. However, we are explicitly not responsible for: loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle; pre-existing cosmetic damage, scratches, or windshield cracks; engine or mechanical failures that occur during standard diagnostic test drives; or damages caused by acts of God, extreme weather, theft, or vandalism while the vehicle is parked on our lot.

10. Mobile Communication Terms

Users who opt in will receive informational messages from WRENCHRITE AUTOMOTIVE LLC. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Privacy Policy: https://whitecons.com/privacy. Terms & Conditions: https://whitecons.com/terms.

If you voluntarily opt-in to receive text messages from us, you agree to receive automated SMS/MMS messages strictly for operational automotive services, including repair estimates for your approval, appointment reminders, diagnostic updates, and vehicle pickup notifications. We do not use text messaging for marketing or promotional campaigns. Your consent to receive these text messages is completely voluntary. The SMS opt-in checkbox on our forms is explicitly not mandatory. Opting out will not affect your ability to have your vehicle serviced by us. We do not share, sell, or trade your mobile phone data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising from our repair services or these terms must be resolved through good faith negotiation. If litigation becomes necessary, both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts located in New Haven County, Connecticut.

13. Indemnification and Severability

You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless WRENCHRITE AUTOMOTIVE LLC, its mechanics, and staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your failure to disclose critical vehicle safety issues or your violation of these Terms.
